Consuming far less power
LED provides constant light source by consuming far less power than xenon light bulbs. Not only useful in video shooting, Amaran is also the best tool for portrait photography in fast shutter and large aperture. It is the best replacement of manual speedlight which cannot catch up with a shutter speed faster than the maximum x-sync speed of your camera. |
Adjustable dial
On the back of the Amaran there is an adjustable dial allowing you to manually set the power output of the LED lights. Above the dial is a button that checks battery life via an indicator of 4 lamps, with 4 being fully charged and 1 being low on voltage / battery life. It can be powered by either a Sony NP-series camcorder battery or 6 AA batteries. |
